Maize Sheller machine is another important implement using in small size farms mainly used to shell maize kernels off the cob. Shelling is done by beating and shearing action of the cast iron present in the rotating shelling disc. The rotation of the shelling disc throws out the empty cob while the shelled kernels are passed through an air stream. The cleaned maize kernels are then collected at the bottom area from the machine.
